Isabella Calves
BIOGRAPHY
Isabella Calves is an Associate at Hall Prangle LLC, based in the firm’s Pensacola office. She focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare providers, organizations, and professionals in medical malpractice matters, as well as insurance defense litigation involving premises liability and general negligence claims.
Before joining Hall Prangle LLC, Isabella served as an Attorney at a defense firm where she focused her practice on insurance defense litigation, including automobile accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and construction defect matters. Through her representation of insurers and their insureds, Isabella developed substantial experience handling a wide range of civil litigation matters, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Isabella served as a Law Clerk at a plaintiff-side litigation firm and as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Margaret A. Brennan in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. These experiences provided her with valuable insight into litigation from both the advocacy and judicial perspectives.
Isabella earned her J.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2023, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, she received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Trial Advocacy and Mediation and was named to the Dean’s List throughout multiple semesters.
Isabella also holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Campbellsville University. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and a minor in Business. During her undergraduate studies, Isabella received the Richard and Sandra Berg Scholar-Athlete Award, recognizing the highest GPA among female student-athletes, and received Book Awards in Legal Research and Writing and Legal Advocacy.
Born and raised in Brazil, Isabella is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds.
