BIOGRAPHY

Pat Hulbert is an Associate at Hall Prangle’s Las Vegas office. His practice focuses on representing healthcare organizations and device manufacturers in all matters ranging from governmental investigations to malpractice and data breach litigation.

Pat started his legal career as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the U.S. Air Force. His first assignment was at a special operations wing, where he served in a dual-hatted role as assistant general counsel for Cannon Air Force Base and as Chief of the base’s Military Justice Division. In that role, Pat oversaw the investigations of two law enforcement agencies and led a team of four attorneys in the prosecution of court-martial actions. He also advised diverse organizations, from the base medical center to detachments of Air Commandos, on matters pertaining to anything from data privacy and environmental compliance to international agreements and the law of war.

Receiving repeated praise and recognition for his strategic thinking and trial acumen, Pat was hand-selected to serve as independent criminal defense counsel in one of the Air Force’s busiest criminal justice posts. He assisted individual clients at various bases and organizations in the Las Vegas area and beyond. Before departing active duty in 2025, Pat served as lead counsel for dozens of administrative hearings, bench trials, and jury trials. Pat joined Hall Prangle in 2026 after a brief post-military stint doing insurance coverage, general liability, and commercial litigation work.

Originally from Southern California, Pat received his bachelor’s degree in 2017 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a double-major in Philosophy and Anthropology and a minor in Professional Writing. He went on to the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he was an avid participant in the school’s clinical education and pro bono programs, arguing a case before the California Courts of Appeal and graduating in 2020 with Pro Bono High Honors.
