Hall Prangle Attorneys Attend ASHRM 2026 Annual Conference
Phoenix
October 12, 2026
Last week, Hall Prangle attended ASHRM’s Annual Conference, held October 4-6 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The conference brought together healthcare safety and risk management professionals from across the country for practical learning, meaningful conversations, and fresh perspectives. Representing Hall Prangle at the booth were Mike Prangle, Laura Ginett, and Matt Ennis, longtime members of the firm who recently became licensed to practice in Arizona, along with Kathy Lunn, who recently joined Hall Prangle’s Phoenix office. Throughout the conference, the team enjoyed reconnecting with clients, building new relationships, and discussing the evolving needs of healthcare risk management professionals.
On Monday morning, Hall Prangle Partners Marilee Clausing and Sabina Babel, alongside Sinai Health System’s Elizabeth Connolly, presented “Case Scenario Investigation: Birth Trauma Edition.” Birth trauma cases are often catastrophic and complex, requiring careful investigation and critical analysis to identify alternative medical explanations and develop effective causation defenses. Drawing on their experience, the presenters introduced a six-step investigative methodology designed to help answer the question, “What Really Happened Here?” Through case studies, attendees explored how a structured investigative approach can uncover key medical findings, evaluate causation, and strengthen defense strategies in complex birth trauma litigation.
Following the conference on Monday, Hall Prangle welcomed clients, friends, and colleagues to a cocktail reception at Carcara in downtown Phoenix. The evening offered an opportunity to continue conversations from the conference in a more relaxed setting, reconnect with clients and colleagues, and build relationships with healthcare professionals in the Arizona market. We were pleased to bring together so many members of our network as we continue to grow our presence in the state.
The trip also marked an exciting milestone for Hall Prangle with the opening of our new Phoenix office. Conveniently located in downtown Phoenix, the office strengthens our presence in Arizona and reflects our continued commitment to serving clients across the state. While in town for the conference, our team had the opportunity to visit the new space and celebrate this next step in the firm’s growth.
We are grateful to everyone who connected with us at ASHRM and look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead!
