We are pleased to congratulate Hall Prangle Partner Matt Kaminski on being named a 2026 40 Under Forty honoree by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer, recognizing his accomplishments and contributions to the legal profession.
Matt is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on defending healthcare clients in medical malpractice matters and employers in a wide range of employment law disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, wage and hour, contract disputes, trade secrets, and non-compete agreements. He also has experience defending businesses in federal civil litigation and representing companies in products liability cases across the country.
Prior to joining Hall Prangle, Matt served as an Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney in the Civil Actions Bureau, where he focused on litigation in federal and state court and defended Cook County and its elected officials in employment law, civil rights, and contract disputes.
Matt’s commitment to trial advocacy began during law school, where he was a member of the Moot Court team and received the Order of the Barristers award for excellence in trial advocacy. He also received a CALI Award in Appellate Advocacy and completed judicial externships at the federal district court and Illinois Appellate Court levels.
