Michael Neal
BIOGRAPHY
Michael (Mike) Neal began his career defending California healthcare professionals from claims of medical negligence. After several years, Mike put his litigation career on hold and joined the ranks and began teaching law with a focus on learning outcomes. After eight years working as a full-time adjunct professor of law, Mike returned to litigation again picking up the mantel of representing healthcare clients against claims of medical negligence, nursing home negligence, and premises liability. Clients like hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians, nurses, physical therapists, chiropractors, dentists, and other healthcare providers in medical and long-term care litigation benefit from Mike’s familiarity with California pretrial civil practice from both an academic perspective and a practitioner’s perspective.
Mike graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, double majoring with degrees in Rhetoric and Legal Studies. Mike was a member of two different intercollegiate trial teams in law school. He graduated from California Western School of Law with honors.
After law school, Mike served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer Togliatti of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, which is where he discovered his interest in healthcare litigation.
